Injection Molding

Plastic, a highly compliant material, is useful only when fashioned into commercial applications for human or technical use. Some of the many plastic products produced by inSync Manufacturing include the production injection or blow molding of:

Injection molding is the most practical and rapid method of producing articles of intricate shape. The chemical make-up of several thousand different resin compounds allow plastic to replace wood and metal in many cases.

The process generally consists of injecting molten plastic material from a heated cylinder into a closed mold, allowing the plastic to cool and solidify, followed by ejecting the finished product from the mold.

The Injection Molding Department comprises late model machines which range from 120-ton to 1500-ton molders, having slot sized ranging from 8 oz. to 213 oz.
